I wonder if I shall ever get over it, over the pandemic, over watching society rush headlong to destruction. Maybe just a small portion, but knowing that everyone here in this state chose for those unlucky ones to die and thought it an acceptable cost for freedom and for business.
There is autonomy for patients, in which we as physicians accept that they have the right to choose what happens to their bodies, and there is preference for societies, in which societies get to choose what policies they want - or deserve.
